For plating operations, chemical resistance is the number-one priority. This is where floors may be exposed to a variety of strong acids (Hydrochloric, Nitric, Sulfuric) as well as caustic sodas. For the harshest, most-demanding environments, Novolac™ may be both formulated into the matrix layer and applied as a topcoat. Dur-A-Flex® epoxy resurfacers are inherently chemical resistant, which makes them ideally suited for use in areas where moderate chemical resistance is required. Please refer to the Chemical Resistance Chart for a detailed overview. Systems are available in Standard Slip Resistant, Orange Peel and Smooth finishes.
